According to Dr. Miller, (my previous teacher) and the director of Middle East Music at the University of Utah, ancient Iranian musical instruments are the foundations for all of the world's current musics and instruments. He has done extensive research to come to this conclusion and I was shocked to hear his remarks he made back in 1971 when I took a Santour class with him. Long live the legacy of Iran's history and its contributions to the world of arts and music.

We have a task of being commited to each other. That is in essense the raison-d'étre of AWF. When this objective is met fully, we can now stand to defend ourselves. The public especially those in power do not cherish writers.
